Hi everybody! After being at crazy ballet bootcamp for five weeks, I'm back, and I think I've never been more tired in my entire life. But next Monday I have to go to Stanford University for two weeks for orientation to my new school- yup, new school! I got into this online high school program for gifted students that is run by Stanford. It's going to be amazing, because now I'm going to have time for piano, ballet, and art year round! Amazingness! And as if this isn't cool enough, when I get back from California I'm going to Bermuda for a week! Bermuda! I'm liking my life right now. A lot . And while I've been gone, I see that, as usual, everyone has been at work on some wonderful art. Lots of wonderful Romanov-y art. So, with that, I'll say cheerio, with lots of from me and my two dear kittens Charlotte and Antoinette. Carry on!

It's time for happiness cuz it's summer! I'm so very very excited because I can finally do all the things I want to do. Furthermore, I just got two brand new kittens, two little girls, and named them Charlotte and Antoinette in honor of MA and her favorite sister, Maria Carolina, called Charlotte. Unfortunately I leave in a little more than a week for summer camp (ballet company ! ) so I won't be able to post too much, but I'll still be able to work on things so hopefully there will be plenty to upload when I get back. The next project I have in mind is something for Anastasia's birthday, June 18... not quite sure what, though.
Just watched Becoming Jane last night and my verdict is that it was not as good as Pride and Prejudice, but maybe it would grow on me if I watched it again?? I thought it was kind of confusing, especially in the beginning. But it got better as it went on. I need to see The Other Boleyn Girl next! Even though the book wasn't much more than a trashy novel masquerading as respectable historical fiction, I can't resist a juicy costume drama...

UPDATE: GAAAAAAAH!!!! Speaking of costume dramas, Keira Knightley (my favorite actress) is starring in a new one coming out this fall, about the controversial Duchess of Devonshire. My favorite actress + my favorite fashion era. I think I'm in heaven and I'm counting down the days until it comes out... I hope I'm not disappointed...

Well, currently, I'm pretty ill, but the fact that in two weeks or so it'll be summer vacation makes me feel a whole lot better by itself! Back to art! Back to dance! Back home where
I can actually use the scanner to upload stuff!! Oh how exciting. I haven't drawn anything really substantial, but there are a few cute things in my PreCalc notebook that I sketched to pass the time whilst being bored and confuddled to tears by trigonometric ratios. I'll probably add those under scraps and then get working on some new stuff. I'm going to be as creative as possible this summer, in between all the ballet classes I'm going to take. Which are going to be very numerous. Hooray! Oh the wonderfulness of summer. Cheerio to you all. I feel horrible for being so awfully busy as to be away so long, but

Mmmkay, people, go for it!

Oh boy, I'm back at school and I don't have time for anything that isn't homework, but I am doing my very best to make time. I have an AP class this year and I have lots of essays to write... But I will do my very best. Also, some bad news is that I'm not going to Italy in the spring (so sad ) because the choir trip got changed... now I'm going to Florida. Yuck. Well, not yuck, but I feel like I've seen everything there is to see in Florida. Or at least everything I'm interested in seeing. Some good news, that y'all probably know already: THE BODIES OF THE LOST ROMANOVS WERE FOUND! RIP dear Nastya and Aloysha. Or was it Mashka and Aloysha? Either way, they can finally be put to rest, along with all the annoying survival rumors. This weekend I will do my very best to be around more, and maybe, just maybe, do some drawing. I miss summer already...
